Sandefjord vs Bodø / Glimt Preview

Sandefjord is on fantastic form lately counting six consecutive victories. New success two weeks ago, winning 2-1 away to Hodd to a rather divided game, followed by another away win 3-2 in the equally difficult opponent Honefoss, while they had a game on Sunday against Alta where they won too (2-1). They signed from Haugesund striker Eyke on loan who is expected to help. There is no significant absences on Sandefjord squad today.

Bodo/Glimt had a draw at home last week against Honefoss where after a really long time there was crowd record. However, the shift in a youth team continues, as they sold main defenders Hamud and Renink to Stromsgodset and Rosenborg, and signed two Danish youngsters to replace them. Stensland and Karlssen are still out while forward Jacobsen is suspended.

Sandefjord with six consecutive victories, very good form and psychology has lot of chances to win this game at home where they are traditionally very strong.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is confident that Gareth Bale will be fit to face Manchester United on Sunday despite the winger suffering a

hamstring injury in midweek.

Kyle Walker is fit after recovering from an ankle injury against Arsenal last week and Redknapp is also confident that Rafael van der Vaart and Ledley King will feature.

Scott Parker is suspended following his sending off at the Emirates Stadium last weekend while long-term absentees William Gallas and Tom Huddlestone remain sidelined.

Meanwhile, Chris Smalling is Manchester United’s latest injury victim.

Smalling required stitches in a head wound sustained during England’s friendly defeat to Holland and Sir Alex Ferguson is wary of rushing the defender back too quickly.

Wayne Rooney has recovered from a throat infection but Antonio Valencia, Tom Cleverley and Michael Owen are all out.

Match Notes
Both teams lost the bulk of their squad to international duty in midweek so, working on the theory that a change is as good as a rest, this could produce a feast.

United have not lost at White Hart Lane since May 2001 and given Scott Parker’s ban coupled with Wayne Rooney’s return and all the odds point to United’s 10th away win of the season.

Team news ahead of Manchester City and Bolton’s Premier League bout this afternoon at the Etihad Stadium. Kick-off is at 3pm.

Roberto Mancini was pleased that all of his players came back from midweek international duty without reports of any knocks, and he should have a full squad to choose from for today’s game. Kolo Toure did pull out of Ivory Coast action this week but that was only a precaution.

Though the controversial figure of Carlos Tevez is not quite ready for first-team contention but has had several successful run-outs for the reserves this week after returning to training.

For Owen Coyle’s Bolton, midfielder Mark Davies is battling to overcome his hamstring injury but needs to prove his fitness.

Kevin Davies (knee) is also a doubt, as is Icelandic defender Gretar Steinsson (calf) who came back with a knock from his international duty.

Dedryck Boyata is ineligible to play against his parent club as per the terms of the loan agreement. Joe Riley (foot) is fit to play if called upon.

Bolton midfielder Mark Davies (hamstring) is hoping to prove his fitness.

Team management

Welcome to Liverpool vs Arsenal live stream soccer. It is very likely that Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson will not play the full 90 minutes. Both players suffered injuries during international duty with England in midweek. Daniel Agger’s exclusion from Kenny Dalglish’s roster is confirmed.

Medical reports explain that the Denmark player has a broken rib. The wound, picked up during last weekend’s Carling Cup final victory over Cardiff City, could take Agger out for up to four weeks. The pressure will be on Downing and Craig Bellamy to give out a great performance in the wings.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will have to organise against Liverpool without the injured Aaron Ramsey. Arsene Wenger might have to structure his team without Vermaelen and Rosicky as well. Rosicky is recovering from back problems while Vermaelen has an ankle injury. Both players are a doubt for Saturday’s lunch time kick-off.

However, the presence of Ivory Coast star winger Gervinho and Dutch striker Robin van Persie should improve the play of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Benayoun. There is a chance for Ignasi Miquel and Johan Djourou to be in Arsenal’s starting XI.

Liverpool v Arsenal

Arsenal has three wins and two losses in their last five. Liverpool has won just four games at home this season while Arsenal has won five on the road.
Six out of the last nine meetings between these teams have ended in draws and there’s a good chance this one will too.

Sportsbook William Hill has the current odds of a Liverpool win listed at 11/10 and an Arsenal victory at 14/5 with a draw at 21/10.
