Team news ahead of Manchester City and Bolton’s Premier League bout this afternoon at the Etihad Stadium. Kick-off is at 3pm.
Roberto Mancini was pleased that all of his players came back from midweek international duty without reports of any knocks, and he should have a full squad to choose from for today’s game. Kolo Toure did pull out of Ivory Coast action this week but that was only a precaution.
Though the controversial figure of Carlos Tevez is not quite ready for first-team contention but has had several successful run-outs for the reserves this week after returning to training.
For Owen Coyle’s Bolton, midfielder Mark Davies is battling to overcome his hamstring injury but needs to prove his fitness.
Kevin Davies (knee) is also a doubt, as is Icelandic defender Gretar Steinsson (calf) who came back with a knock from his international duty.
Dedryck Boyata is ineligible to play against his parent club as per the terms of the loan agreement. Joe Riley (foot) is fit to play if called upon.
Bolton midfielder Mark Davies (hamstring) is hoping to prove his fitness.
